A growing construction and industrial supply company is expanding its Nashville sales team and looking for an experienced Outside Sales Representative to help grow an established Middle Tennessee territory.

This is an expansion position with significant room to build. We're looking for someone who understands the Nashville market, enjoys developing contractor relationships, and wants an opportunity where strong performance directly translates into strong earning potential.

The Opportunity

You'll manage and grow a territory centered around Nashville with the ability to develop business throughout Middle Tennessee and surrounding markets.

You'll work directly with contractors and industrial customers across a broad range of construction, safety, tool and industrial products. The company has the product capabilities and operational support to pursue business across multiple contractor segments rather than limiting you to one narrow product category.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced construction or industrial salesperson who wants the freedom to develop a territory and be rewarded for the business they create.

Compensation

• Competitive base salary with flexibility based on experience
• Uncapped commission at 9% of gross profit

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate has existing sales experience within the Nashville or Middle Tennessee construction, industrial, electrical, mechanical, safety, fastener, tool or contractor-supply market.

Relevant backgrounds could include:

• Construction supply
• Industrial distribution
• Electrical supply
• Mechanical / HVAC / plumbing supply
• Fasteners and anchors
• Tools and equipment
• Safety / PPE
• MRO products
• Contractor-focused distribution

Existing contractor relationships in Middle Tennessee are highly valued.

What You'll Do

• Develop new contractor and industrial accounts throughout the territory
• Grow relationships with existing and prospective customers
• Identify new projects and sales opportunities
• Work directly with customers in the field and on jobsites
• Build and manage a long-term book of business
• Partner with inside sales and operations to provide responsive customer service
• Expand the company's presence throughout the Nashville market
